Supporting Our Youth Cultivate. Create. Celebrate.

Housing

SOY staff can support youth in accessing information and resources on housing.

We can help youth access shelters and subsidized housing, and we can support youth in creating healthy and safe living spaces.

SOY’s Housing Partnerships

SOY has a partnership with St. Clare’s Multifaith Housing Society and the Hugh Garner Housing Co-Operative. There are a limited number of units available. Youth who have been attending SOY for some time and need housing may join the waiting list for a housing unit at the Pears Avenue site of St. Clare’s. These units are bachelor units without a kitchen. Once a 1-bedroom apartment becomes available elsewhere, youth from Pears Avenue have the option to move.
