From Get Out Youth

“One of the highlight moments has been the canoe trips to Lake Temagami, I really love being out in the Ontario Wilderness, discovering the forest and being able to connect with like-minded people such as myself and also knowing that I am in a safe space where I will be listened to and supported. I also really enjoyed going back-country skiing and snow-shoeing, it made for a great winter exercise.”

“I find being able to connect with people who enjoy being outdoors and physically active to be very rewarding and also being able to talk about important topics that I don't necessarily get a chance to discuss with other people. Get Out provides me with an opportunity to go outside and have fun, however, as someone who also lives with Depression and Anxiety, it is also essential for me to have these opportunities where I can socialize with other people and not feel isolated. All in all, Get Out has been a good anti-depressant, highly recommend it!”
